New 2020 Trackhawk

Super excited ordered 2020 trackhawk (Sting Gray) on 8/12/19, with Pano, stereo, Black Laguna, red seat belts (Black Wheels standard now). Went to D on 8/13/19 and now D1 on Monday 9/9/19 with expected ship date of 9/19/19. Hope to see it by end of the month as I live close to Chicago. (Think they are built in Detroit).

Do all the aftermarket vendors have nothing in stock for these? I ordered Eibach springs, but I feel like I am about to get the "back ordered" email. Also Borla seems to have no idea when they can get tips. Are others experiencing the same delays with the aftermarket?

FWIW, I went through a custom car shop in my area for springs and exhaust and they received everything in a few days whereas I was told things were on backorder as well. Sometimes the shops have more pull due to their buying power and the volume they do with each vendor. You might try a well known shop in your area to see if they have better luck.

Yeah the delays are ridiculous. Contact PK Auto, I think he’s got some in stock and FYI if you got the tow package, the exhaust tips won’t work without modifying

The only thing "in stock" for these things are some of the engine performance package offerings. Even getting the transmission tuned can be troublesome for some tuners/vendors.

I did Forgeline wheels, Borla, Eibach springs... and yes, the stuff takes time to get. I also went through PK Auto and was pleased with the correspondence, even when things got a little delayed. But the bottom line is... don't be in a hurry for parts.

No, the tips can’t be used on stock exhaust. Cat back comes with an adapter so you can reuse the factory tips.

Excellent choice - yes they are built at the Jefferson North plant in Detroit.

Thanks guys for the additional info. Called a ton of vendors. Looks like a month out is the best I can do. Gives me time to clear bra, ceramic coat the car, wheels, etc, and figure out how to get the stock springs out.

Any how to guides out there and lowering spring for the TH?

One thing I would highly recommend you do is to swap out the factory Brembo brake pads for Powerstop Z23 formula pads, ASAP. The Brembo pads leave an atrocious amount of sticky residue on your calipers and wheels. The resins and binders in their formulation are the main cause of the mess. Order up the pads now and get them changed right away. You will not regret it.
