A while back i started to design and make me a strut bar for my TrackHawk. My 1st model is a two pice for ease of installation thinking since i made a tight fit on the holes that it might be a bit hard to get on and of.

Great job! I think it would look good with Hemi orange powder coat now.

It worked great, driving with the strut bar in place made a feel nice difference it makes the steering feel a bit more solid, hard to explain, tracks truer if that means anything, well planted, less flex in the towers. In hard braking or nose dive it holds straight and true, before the strut bar in similar conditions the the TrackHawk would feel a bit looser. Now taking the on and off ramps to the turnpike at high speeds the TH feels well settled.

With help from my friend Todd (Extreme Cryogenics) I also just finished finished the one piece design. Designed in enough clearance to fit the Fi Interchiller’s intake spacer plates.

I had to trim back a bit on one of the reservoir legs to make my base plate area as large as possible and to equal the drivers side base plate, easy enough to do with a sharp pocket knife or Leatherman.

Thinking of what color i want to paint it, like as said before caliper yellow i like as well as the red but also i was thinking of a Carbon Fiber wrap, let me know what you all think. I read on another forum that the Rustoleum High Temp Silver is a perfect match to the supercharger silver and that is also a good option.

Pilot it looks awesome. My former SRT8 2006 came from the factory with one that looks very close to the one you made. As far a a color goes I like the Yellow or the silver (srt8 was silver) the silver will blend better and look more factory. Nice work.

Yes I bought lots of material in effort to keep the cost down and I’m making a first batch of 10 to start, by mid week or so i should have a pretty good idea on price.

Either un-painted or primer would be fine for me since I believe I would color match the Redline Pearl.

(FYI - found AutomotiveTouchup has great color match spray paints.)
