I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the thread so I apologize for any duplication. About two days ago my TH emits blue smoke at start up and has been doing so on every startup since. I can't recall if this is normal with these engines or if this is something that needs serviced.

Thoughts/feedback?

I’ve seen this on my TH and previous GC every once in a great while. Just often enough for me to say wtf n watch it like a hawk for a week or so but not every time. Keep an eye on your oil level and get it in to be looked at.

Have you checked your catch can? Might be full. It could be the drivers side, maybe just a small build up. You could check the hose that leads to the intake from the drivers side head. Just my 2cents.

White smoke would mean ur burning coolant that is leaking into the cylinders. Blue exhaust smoke is oil leaking from a gasket somewhere.

Its simply burning oil due to oil leak. Could be leaking valve seal, piston rings or PVC valve likely. U need to go to a repair shop and get that looked at. It wont get any better.....
