Hi all, I have the Laguna leather seats and being as how they are much softer than the leather I'm accustomed to (at least to my ignorant hand), I am leery of putting my girls' car seats on them without a protective mat. Do any of you have a good experience with a certain seat cover? We had one in our explorer, but when I traded it in you could still see the indentations on the seat a couple days after I cleaned it out.

Thanks in advance!

My kids are all grown now, but when we had car seats, we used a thick beach towel and doubled it over to increase its thickness. I didn't feel this compromised the safety of the child seat itself, which is certainly of utmost importance, but it did alleviate indentions and marks on the leather. But this idea may be no better than a mat you describe that is specifically designed for it.
