I'm not saying that Land Rover is not good by any means, but I am not surprised that the Jeep won out. Jeep has built a pretty great reputation for being the best at making off-road vehicles. The Cherokee Trailhawk is basically their mainstay vehicle (and the Wrangler). Jeep customers would not be happy if it was being beat by competitors.

That's very true.

At least at the end of the day both vehicles serve their market of customers quite well, I see many more Jeep customers wanting to go off road than LR and RR customers.

Do you think that the Trackhawk will have to sacrifice any off-road capability in order to pivot itself more towards the track?

Is that due to the range rover SVR's engine or drive system?
The entire package. Haven't looked into the specifics but as you can imagine there are a number of areas of the vehicle they have to target to make it a well rounded one which it is.
