Hey guys,

I looked at the K&N website and they don't list an oil filter for the TH, yet they list the same part number I used on my 2015 SRT Jeep (HP-2010) for the Dodge Hellcats so I am guessing it will work. Don't all of the 6.4s and 6.2s use the same oil filter?

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I use a royal purple oil filter and it’s the same one as I used on my 5.7L GC

Exactly - seems like all Mopar V8s use the same filters. I emailed K&N yesterday so we'll see what they say.

All GC V8s do NOT use the same filter. The 6.2 and 6.4 (Trackhawk and SRT) use Mopar P/N 4884899AC, while the 5.7 uses 4892339AA

Good catch, Craig - Lil Hemi you might want to double check that filter. I hadn't researched the 5.7 but knew the 6.2s and 6.4s used same filters.

K&N Tech Support replied: "We currently do not offer an oil filter for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.2L. We have not yet had the opportunity to test fit an oil filter for your application."

I can’t seem to find where I got the part number from now but it was identical in size/shape to the OEM factory filter.
