Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and apologize if my questions have already been addressed. I should receive my trackhawk the first week of Jan according to the dealer. I noticed they included a $1999 charge (tires & wheels) on my invoice. They said it was a 5yr warranty that covers any damage to tires & wheels caused by a flat. It also covers dents & dings that do not require paint. Has anyone heard of a warranty like this and feel it's worth the cost? They also suggested a type of protective wrap to protect the paint (2k additional). Thank you in advance for your feedback!!

I recommend you DO NOT get the wheel and tire package. If you read the fine print basically they dont cover anything. The only thing covered is if you are driving and get a flat or something. If its damage from your driving, like a curb or something it wont be covered. The rims on the jeep are very stong, normal pot holes and stuff wont bend them and a flat tire isnt $2k

As far as the paint protection that is up to you. If rock chips drive you crazy or you want to protect you front end then its a good investment. If you dont care and you will drive it a year or 3 and sell then probably not worth it. You may be able to get higher quality film and better workmanship doing it after the purchase at a specialty shop then at the dealer where they crank out the work as fast as possible. Xpel and 3M/Llumar are good brands.

Lastly i would inspect your purchase order/invoice dilligently. Sounds like they are trying ti squeeze money out of you.
Thank You!

Yogi-

Appreciate the insight. I actually completed all the paperwork today and declined the tire & wheel warranty. Someone else had posted a link to extended warranties through mopar which were much less expensive. The dealer's warranty on the tires & wheels was 2k and the same exact deal through mopar was $875. He didn't know what to say and didn't try to offer me any additional add-ons. These forums are really beneficial for guys like me that don't shop for vehicles very often.
What are the different warranty options Mopar offers? I don’t see them on their website.
When I purchased my TH I got the 5yr/60K mile bumper to bumper and the wheel and tire protection through MOPAR and it was only $1300. It even covers if I curb a rim.
