Extended Warranty?

I'm curious how many folks here chose to buy the extended warranty?

For me, I was really on the fence because I do plan to get into some modifications that might bite me later if I do have to make a warranty claim. But after some back and forth with the dealer, I figured that the extra $3k for maxcare 7yr seemed reasonable for a $100k truck with a race car engine and drivetrain. My '06 SRT8 was rock solid and I never had to use the extended warranty for anything... so, maybe I'm just burning $3k for nothing.

What did y'all do? Anyone ever have to make warranty claims on their SRTs?

Mine have been solid as well. Warranty does = piece of mind.

On my 14 i got a call from someone with jeep offering me a lifetime warranty for 5-6k$. I was pretty sure i would be trading my jeep at some point. Since i love my 14, and the trackhawk should be better, as soon as i make sure i dont have a lemon i would buy the lifetime warranty for the TH if they offer it. Im guessing they wont but if they do...
Would be nice if they offered lifetime warranty, but with performance cars and more wear and tear, that's highly unlikely. but even extended warranty gives you a peace of mind.
