Dayton Ohio....I was worried about the full leather seats thats why I did not get them. I posted that in another thread with a picture.Wow! How is this possible? I don't even have a VIN yet. Where is this located?
Did you notice the leather on the seats looks loose?!? It was only a quick glance in the video, but it sure looked loose to me. I wonder if that has something to do with the signature stitching since it's on that part of the seat. I'm glad I didn't pay 7k extra for that inferior signature leather package. I hope the standard leather seats are tighter since they don't have that 'fancy' stitching on them. I bet the owner of this Trackhawk won't be pleased with their expensive leather package. Hopefully this is a one off and not a production flaw that every Trackhawk will have.
Yeah IMO that is one thing I noticed FCA being weak in, and that was full leather interior. Not everyone's gets stretched out but I know there is a lot of pictures and warranty claims on them with the HC's. It is defiantly a sleeper though lol.Nice color combo but if my sig leather looks like that from the factory they can keep it. That's ridiculous especially coming from a rover sport where everything is so tight and well put together. Unacceptable in a 97k car even unacceptable in a 40k car. How hard is it to put in nice leather seats. Heck even a Camry has tight leather seats that last a long time. What's the point in having a nice ride where in a year the seats look all worn and saggy. Like previously mentioned maybe they screwed up the first one but doesn't look so great when the first one looks like that on the inside. Come on Jeep get with the program. Nonetheless that trackhawk looks like a sleeper beast. Fingers crossed for them to make it right from now on.
Yeah, after seeing it in the HC's I steered clear of the full leather options. I will being driving for hours straight after I leave the dealer until I hit 500 miles lol.Wow that's nuts on a 2016! Wtf crazy. For 7k upgrade?! Hopefully they took a page from benz and straightened it out. Ugh after those pics wishing I saved the dough. Even if it's under warranty it's still a pain to fix and take it to the dealer. I know we will all be driving in circles to reach the 500 mile marker so we can use launch ? control though!
Get em......It sure is bizarre that FCA can design and produce a mechanical marvel in engineering with this SUV, yet they can't even seem to cover seats properly, which is a trade that is very easily perfected. After seeing some of the images of other hellcats with this problem, it seems like this may be a production problem and not a one off. And if it is, and it's gone on this long, dating back to previous hellcat models...Why the hellcat haven't they fixed it by now? Sorry for the pun but it just happened as I was typing it, as I'm so used to adding cat to the end of ****.
FCA, Jeep, SRT Division...If you monitor these forums, you guys need to fix this problem ASAP, or there's going to be a lot of buyers demanding their 7k back they paid for this inferior leather option before taking delivery of it.
And this doesn't even address the fact that they forced the 2k stereo upgrade on everyone that wanted this 'signature' leather package. I'd bet you won't even be able to notice any real improvement in audio over the stock system with this option either. I think this could be one of the most worthless 7k options ever offered. Congrats to FCA for getting so many buyers to bite on this option.
Where did you hear this? Just curious.Bummer production was delayed with an unknown start date now!!! Hopefully soon and hope it is for a good reason...
The info is around. I have seen it multiple locations between other forums and social media...Where did you hear this? Just curious.
Haha you know it is the badging that is holding it upMaybe it was delayed after reading this thread and realizing that they need to address this leather problem first. 😏
