I’ve been lurking here for a while. I recently purchased a black 2018 Trackhawk in Canada with only 1050km (652mi) and have it stored until our roads are dry.

I’m looking to do a few small upgrades, one of which is a carbon fiber hood. I’m big on maintaining the OEM look of any parts I will purchase so I really like the Hellcat Look style hood (I’m not interested in the Black Ops Sniper or Renegade versions).

That said, does anyone have any information on this hood, who actually produces it, and what the quality/fitment is like? It appears the Charger OEM vents would be a direct fit for it. Any help/advice/experience is appreciated.

Congrats on your new Trackhawk.

I'm not familiar with that hood, but a couple things should be noted:
1) Per the Carbon Creations page: Up to 70% lighter than OEM factory parts. I highly doubt the CF hood is much more than a couple pounds lighter than the light Aluminum OEM hood.
2) Per the Carbon Creations page: Note: Hood pins are required

Also, Trackhawks are made to be driven, even when the roads are Not dry:

Thanks for the reply. I totally agree and noticed that too regarding the claimed weight. I saw a video on YouTube where someone compared a carbon fiber Grand Cherokee hood versus a stock one and it was only about 25% lighter. I’m definitely not concerned with the weight savings but their absurd claim is still detracts from their credibility as a company.

With regard to the hood pins comment; I’ve seen that on the majority of carbon hood spec sheets, even from the “reputable” brands. I’m not sure what the reason for that is but it’s commonplace.
