i/c Low

Sorry that my first post is a huge question. Im coming from the Z06 world and clueless on these. Bought a 18 Th had the blower rebuilt by Kong. Prior to that the radio gauge for the intercooler just had the two dashes, but the dealer that sold it replaced the head unit so im assuming that was the issue that needs programing?

Anyway, blower rebuilt and after about 50 miles, had the I/C coolant low in the cluster but was showing reasonable temps for about 5 days. Tried bleeding and that wasnt working well until today when suddenly still showing the I/C coolant low in the cluster but no temperatures and it isnt red anymore.

I've been burping it by squeezing the intercooler lines from the overflow and air bubbles are coming up from the lines but this seems to be taking a long time. Had it running and set in track mode to keep the pump running and I can feel flow through the hose when I squeeze it.

Any thoughts on my issues. Has a 3.1 pulley and kong port with 108 tb.

Thanks,,

When it say I/C coolant low in the cluster, is the coolant low in the expansion tank for the I/C?
I also had my supercharger removed and have a hard time to get all the air out. Have keept adding coolant(about 16oz) for about 200 miles and now i think it's stabilized.
I have no good answer on why it dosen't read the temperature. Try and reset everything by disconnecting the battery.

Keep adding coolant to the i/c tank. Had the same issue when I had the i/c coolant drained for some repairs. It’s the air that was trapped inside. But make sure your not losing the coolant.

got it to clear after about 3 days and 3 sessions of 10 minutes of milking the return and supply lines. It was pumping a little air (bubbles) for about five seconds each time until the last time and the large pocket came out as it bubbled at lot for around 15 seconds.
