On phone sorry for typo in heading. Aftermarket hood on truck. Am I going to have water issues if driving in the rain? I think I might need to make a cover plate or something for at least a third of the intake opening. Thoughts

Can't really tell by the photo - take another that gives us more a view of the hood so we can see if this is flat or is it similar to the OEM hood. What aftermarket hood did you go with?

I think you will get water on that filter.
2 things
1. Cut some sort of plastic plate over top of it, this will need some thinking, if you're good with your hands you should be able to think of a cover of sorts.
2. K&N sells tons of 'K&N Air Filter Wraps' that are prone to water, get one of those. But it's not guaranteed either.
