Put the 300 tuning aside, running out of time for trip, taking Trackhawk, so the mods started.

Loaded ECU/TCM tune

New pads and rotors up front.

I'd say the catch can did it's job.

Jeezes the amount of sensors to unplug

Valves look nice and clean

half day tomorrow.
SC pulley on and pin crank and get the ATI 10% installed.

Wednesday and maybe Thursday
Those flippen headers, they don't look fun.

Friday
Injectors, plugs, SC back on and running I hope.

Way to dive in there. The fan shroud isn't very cooperative removing so you can get to that balancer. Good luck, looks like it is going good so far.

Thanks. Haven't pulled fan yet. Gonna use the ATI pinning kit, going in the side of snout.

You’ll need a cobalt bit and a right angle drill to drill into that crank. Most people drop the engine to do the headers but I’ve heard it is possible to install them without dropping it but it’s a super pain in the butt. I’m 1k crank and still on stock half shafts but I think wheel hop is the real axle killer

Yeah, I’m still on the factory driveshaft too and I’m not gentle with it but still on 20’s. Lots of people start reporting wheel hop on 22’s

was advised by HHP when they did my mods, that at I wouldnt need them unless I was at the strip on slicks regularly. On street at 750 wheel the stock is fine.
(Mods - Kooks 2" with green cats, upper pulley, injectors, tune - thermal blanket and spacers also)

Well I didn't get to shop Tue. Just gonna say Fedex and package signing.

Got the pulley on. That Mil made quick work, throw the air impacts away.

replaced all the gaskets, bought the kit. ready to install

Pinned the crank, no pics on the pinning process.

Clearancing for the 10%OD

O the headers. pulled heat shields and driveshaft only so far
Have one bottom bolt left on each of the manifolds. Couple hrs to get that far.
Hope to have headers buttoned up tomorrow.

Those last two bolts#$^%@& on manifolds
Remove alternator for the passenger bottom front one.

Remove starter and knock sensor for the drivers middle bottom one, then reinstall both with heat shield before header install.

these tools are a must, most notably, the flex ratchet wrench.

Passenger side right in, no issues.

Drivers side.
Trans brace to get front drive shaft, steering shaft,
left cradle bolt, needs one inch drop,
one Diff housing bolt so it drops one inch.

The lower tube needed the clearance so all the above is needed.

Both in. What a relief.

Installed passenger side spark plugs, alternator, and fuse box support, fuse box, and ECU that was taken out at the start.

Started on Drivers side plugs and ran out of time 5pm, shop closes.

If all goes well it should be running tomorrow.

probably due to the lighting/camera. It should be the same as the engine coolant. Pink/purpleish in color

Other thing I noticed, it has four 02 ext., nothing for wide bands. Bought for a Track hawk, ARH. Haven't checked to see if I need ext for the wide bands, they looked close though. Sure hope they work or that will be a delay.

Empty out that catch can more often, you really don't want to plug that hole, you will create pressure and than blow head gasket. It looks so overfilled.

Plugs all in and inj installed

Bottom all done. Except the left brace, lift arm covering bolt holes.

My $550.00, I mean 50.00 thermo blanket and cometic gaskets, serves the same purpose as the spacers.

Wasn't gonna muscle that in. Shortened the chain.

New green belt wasn't going on, used the old RPM belt I took off. Thought with 2.85 and 10% the stock belt would of made it. Guessing the old RPM was stretched a little. Need a little longer belt K100604HD. Still want to install the secondary idler, may need longer than 604.

Dusterhoff has the tune dialed in pretty good for first run.

Used the 10% on bottom to see where boost is, if it's too much for 93 and Dusterhoff doesn't feel comfortable I'll change the upper, easier now.

Gonna go with his flex fuel later.
