Good day all! Mike from north Jersey, I have a long history of buying Grand Cherokees. Including an 06' srt and now a 14' srt. And is certainly looking to buy an 17 Hellcat. Will post pics and more bio of my past Grands. Hope to get much info and meet other like minded Hellcat wannabes.

Welcome to the forum!

Glad to have someone on here with a history of Cherokee's like that.
Have you owned any other fast SUV's or sedans/coupes?

Hello Blackhawk, and thanks. I have owned two Peugeot 505 turbos. From there I got into Jeeps and never really had a bad experience with any of them.

That is some serious Jeep dedication, quite possibly the most out of a lot of us on the Jeep forums in total.. not just this one.

Have you and your wife tested other SUV's during those times before deciding on another GC?

No not at all, When we had the 93 Cherokee Sport, we attended a Jeep Experience event. And drove Jeeps straight up sharp inclines, rutted roads, logs etc. After that I never wanted another suv. During most of that time Jeeps have been a step behind in incorporating automotive innovations. Now I'm happy to say they are near the top.

That makes a lot of sense, having that sort of experience really opens your mind, far more than most folks that stick to driving in the city.. never experiencing the potential of Jeeps
