Hey guys. Recently picked up a ‘18 TH. Just did my first oil change on it and out here in Vegas, ambient temps are around 110*.

That being said, coolant is generally around 200-220*, and I’ve seen my oil climb to about 240* at times. Generally operates around 225-230*.
Is anybody else in hot climate that can double check their oil temps for me?

All stock with exception of intake.

That’s about right when running the stock 203* thermostat, I have an 18’ TH and would see those temps when I had the stock thermostat installed with ambient temps in the mid 90’s here in Florida, I’ve since installed a 170* Reische Performance thermostat and now see coolant temps in the 177* to 185* range and the oil temps in 195* to 210* range

My water temps seem to hold pretty steady between 200 and 210... It's usually 202 to 205. Oil temps seem to hang around 230. The air temps typically get up to 95 -100 here in Texas during the summer months. I don't remeber what the oil and water temps run in the winter but I don't think they were much different.
