Right-Hand Drive TrackHawk Is UK Bound

Perhaps we will soon be seeing a few new forum members from the United Kingdom because Jeep is planning to release right-hand drive version of the Hellcat powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
Which is great news for any current members who are from the UK!

Catching up with Jeep boss Mike Manley at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, Auto Express was told that a right-hand version has been green lighted for production, though not much beyond that was revealed. Maybe there’s hope for other RHD markets as well and enthusiasts from countries like Australia could get their hands on one.

Undoubtedly, it will be an exiting time when 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 powered TrackHawks start appearing on showroom floors. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it delivers 707 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque to an all-wheel drive system. That’s enough to propel this insanely powerful SUV from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds before topping out at 180 mph. It can even tow 7,200 lbs, making the Trackhawk a well rounded vehicle.

A specific release date has not yet been provided, nor has pricing for the UK bound TrackHawks been released, but AE believes it should undercut rival SUVs like the BMW X5 M and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
