Does anyone know if rubbing is an issue using a 305/40 r22 tire if the Jeep has been lowered? Wanting to put eibach springs on. Thanks

I'm on Pirelli 305/35 r22's and lowered using Eibach springs and there's no rub at all. That said, a 305/40 tire adds another inch so you may have an issue as mine are VERY close.

@Redline Hawk what is your reason for a 305/40?

305/35 is almost identical to oem.

I have a set of 285/40/22 for my winter wheel setup on a 22x10 + 50 and no issues at all with being lowered on eibachs.

Some people are up to 315, haven’t heard of any issues except with people that are lowered and even then it’s only been on the rears under a hard launch. Generally, you’re pretty safe going up 10mm in width, just be sure the outer diameter or height is the same or you might have some differences on your speedo reading.
