First thing I didWhy didn’t you have a kill switch? I’m thinking of getting one.
Thanks for sharing, another “fix” that isn’t a fix, sad!Because the security upgrade was supposed to fix the issue with them programming keys, apparently it doesn't work.
Which kill switch did you use? Was it installed by you or someone else?
Wow, looks like a classic replication theft.Apparently the key lockdown isn’t available for the Trackhawk even though they told me it was and that it was done. I spoke to the dealer again and all they did was reflash the software on the security module. If I had known it wasn’t available I would have gone for a kill switch and 3rd party immobilizer.
All great initiatives to at least slow them down or pass on the vehicle altogether!Damn, sorry to hear that. I don't trust anything dealers say these days. I believe last time I heard that it wasn't available for Trackhawks, but I could be wrong.
I hope your insurance covers it.
If you do get yourself another one, since it was in garage condo, at least get yourself a Steering Wheel Lock. On 2nd day get yourself a Killswitch. If you worry about them pushing the car out, get yourself Parking Brake block off plate. Extra GPS wouldn't hurt either.

Parking Release block off. I got a steal plate underneath it. So them prying it will be a task.
