Help! 2020 X3m Competition or 2018 Trackhawk?

-The Jeep feels a little cheaper in the interior but its more plush and comfortable on longer trips.
The TH interior feels cheap in comparison with an X1?? Not at all in my opinion, quite the opposite and by a long shot.

I still have to try seats more comfortable than the SRT/Trackhawk chairs....even my 2019 CTS-V Recaro (two and a half grand option) are not as comfortable.

It’s a matter of opinion for sure, but I’ve owned a Trackhawk for nearly 2 1/2 years, and the leather is thin, will crack, and even wrinkle in spots, all of which are very common issues. Even my 2015 designo interior MB GL, which I also owned for 3 years, is light ahead of this interior, when speaking about the quality of material. The FCA leather really is a bargain basement product.

That said, I still absolutely love this truck. So not a big deal for me, but it is for some.

I can show you the interior of my GC SRT after 5 years and 50K miles....seats are perfect, no cracking, no sagging whatsoever, no squeaks and no rattle. To be honest I'm a bit worried about your experience, did FCA cheapened the material when they introduced the TH?? I hope not. The dashboard leather seems better to the touch and the Laguna leather seems really nice as well.

The Audi RS5 I test drove yesterday (100K MSRP) had rubberized plastic for the dash and upper door panels only slightly better than a 30K Dodge Charger.

Audi will charge you 3K extra for an Alcantara headliner on a $130K car, my 2015 GC SRT had the Alcantara headliner as standard equipment and it is still perfect.

No audi or bmw is a way better finish than jeep. No doubt there.
I always hear this but I frankly so not see it with my GC SRT and the TH

Good example...I test drove this very RS5 over the weekend, 101K MSRP

My upper door panel and dash in my GC SRT are much nicer to look and touch, in the Audi are marginally better than the Charger (less grainly and a touch smoother)

The TH with the full leather package is on another planet, I do not think that can be debatable and the Laguna leather is much nicer too.

The headliner of that Audi is simple fabric similar to what you find on a 30K Charger.

Again, in my GC SRT so far I have no cracking and only moderate, perfectly justifiable wrinkling, on par with any German car with similar mileage (50K)

Jeep isn't known for their fit and finish. In fact, you'll see many on this forum that apparently had their made on a Monday and have had constant issues.
That is another issue, assembly quality and I heard horror stories about it from some people. Thankfully my GC SRT has been flawless, only very minor issues, on balance, only slightly worse than your average BMW assembly (a German brand I know very well). Obviously nothing comparable to Lexus precision, but Lexus blows even the Germans out of the water in their assembly quality.

In europe we can only choose the outside colour, the leather seats or leather/fabric center parts and rear seats infotainment. All else is included

But still with full leather i have never seen a door completely in leather without any plastic visible. Also the leather is of another quality. But maybe they make other audi’s bmws and jeeps for a different continent with a different degree of refinement. I can only say i love American cars but you should not pick them for the inside... but mostly i look through the windshield so i do not really mind. ;)

American cars interiors have improved tremendously in the last 10-15 years....some models are still not on par with comparable European automobiles but others are.
After my Chrysler 300M debacle in 2002 I said to myself that I was never going to buy another American car again and went the German and Japanese route....now me and my wife we both have American cars on our driveway and there are a lot of other stars and stripes cars to lust after. The Mustang was the most sold sports car in Germany last year if I recall correctly.
