The IAT temp you see on the gauge in the car is from the iat sensor located under the blower.

1 and 2 are both vacuum ports. 3 is an iat sensor, but not the one displayed.

I want to say there are 3 iat sensors on this motor... intake, post and pre blower.

Okay, thanks. Just trying to figure out how intake air temp climbs to 125F if air is coming from underneath and completely outside of the engine compartment.

 

Keep in mind, like lil hemi said, it’s compressed air and also going thru a hunk of metal that absorbs heat.

The main reason the thermal spacers and blanket were developed.

When you compress air, you also heat it.
