Has anyone else experienced a slight thud sound when coming to a stop? It appears to be coming from the front end and/ or breaking system.
Stericycle is a third party that FCA uses to initiate the buy back process. They are a joke to say the least.I'm not familiar with SteriCycle, except as a biohazard disposal company.
How do they tie in with a lemon law car buy-back?
Please edumacate me, thanks.
I know what you mean. SteriCycle is a joke dealt with them on my first one and then the dealer stepped in and brought in a new one from GA and took the bullet. This time FCA is has made the first 2 payments and SteriCycle is not involved but now FCA won't even talk to my dealer or hardly speak with me. They are a p*ss pour excuse for automotive company. As I told the service manager today they don't know which way to turn. I have owned every kind of 100K plus vehicle you can think of and I can honestly say never had a problem with any except a Viper & these Trackhawks. I look forward to March when the new JAG F-Pace SVR will be out.Mine was one of the first. Had it since December 2017 and I am now waiting for SteriCycle to call me with a drop off date and to get my $ back. I have had this thud as well as a bunch of other issues and it has been approved to go back as a lemon. My attorney has handled a few of these on TH and has recommended not to take a replacement. Kind of bummed as nothing compares when it comes to performance in this price range. Hopeful that by 2020 they will have these issues sorted out and maybee I will grab one then.
How do you tell out of the Vin what the build date is?Is your second an early build? My first was, and it’s getting lemon’d. I’m a little apprehensive about getting a second one right now that’s an early build as well.
Ok got the Trackhawk back on Halloween and now this one has the thud sound. FCA won't return calls and dealer is telling me nothing. Has anyone else had this problem figured out yet?Guys I feel your pain. The new Hawk has been in for almost 4 weeks now with antifreeze in the motor at 800 miles. FCA will not return calls and now my dealer has turned into a Pu**y I don't know if these things are doomed or it's just fiat's involvement either way I will never buy another FCA product. If you live in the southern states start blowing up the FCA Rep Gaylon Morgan you can find him on FB. Hammer down again.

I have a lawyer pursuing lemon law on my TH for zero money. So many issues that I am losing count. It is a shame, because I love it when I have it.
Guys, thud sound happening here as well. I have read all posts in this whole thread and there doesn't seem to be an actual answer. Is it the driveline or is it the suspension bushings? Or is it the wheel caps? (joke on the last one).
My new Hawk. Just washed. Didn't de-badge all the way. Changed center caps to Hellcats instead of Demons. Figured the Demons may have possessed the first Hawk.So what did they tell you? I picked up my new one on 8-24-2018. Runs like it should, a whole world of difference!
Mine has been making a similar sound. When I start driving from a stop, or slow down to a stop, I hear a sound that seems to be coming from the rear. I would say mine sounds like someone hitting an empty 5 gallon bucket, thud like sound. It's going to the dealer next Friday for an oil change, the cruise control issue, and I reported this sound to the dealer. We will see what happens. I have 5300 miles on it.
I'm going to tell you to let off the brake and drive it right down their throat. I have been lied to and lied to. Today they located me a new one. They have no clue on what causes the noise neither does FCA. But I will tell you when you are use to running over people and getting paid to do so they suddenly remember that and get on the bus and agree to your requests. Don't let up on them!Mine has been making a similar sound. When I start driving from a stop, or slow down to a stop, I hear a sound that seems to be coming from the rear. Mine is doing the same thing. It’s mostly when putting it into gear and in reverse. Mine is going in next week for an oil change and a couple cosmetic issues to get fixed. Will post what my dealer tells me.
Tell the dealer to add it to his personal collection and have them order a 2019 for you. If you’ve got a tart taste in your mouth, maybe it’s a lemon.
"The owner of the dealership has a Trackhawk, they want to remove his driveline and stick it in mine."
Wow, that sounds strange. I think that would technically be a used part. WTF with warranty claims after that?
I'm with you on getting your money back NOW.
Will keep you updated. Took it in today.
I believe I have the same issue. I can only hear it if I am backing up at more than just an idle. It happens when I am in reverse and I give it a little quick throttle. You can hear a thud or creak of some kind. It makes sense to me that it is the bushings on the suspension. Do you think this sounds like the same thing? Let me know if it resolves your issue and I will be sure to bring it up the next time I bring mine in to the dealer.
