Has anyone else experienced a slight thud sound when coming to a stop? It appears to be coming from the front end and/ or breaking system.
Is this more prevalent in track mode? I’ve noticed the downshift to 1st can be a tad abrupt but I don’t know about a thud.
Dealer has had it all week and said they came up with the spare tire being loose. Got it back and at the first red light 1000 feet from the dealership the pop was still there. I was so pissed. The sound is happening while coming to a stop or when placing in gear from drive to reverse or back & forth. Also we are in upper 80 to 90 degree weather. I don't have a clue. I do know the spare tire was still loose and the plastic retainer which holds it down is cheap! Anyone please????Has anyone else experienced a slight thud sound when coming to a stop? Ok…. Keep us all posted on what you find out.
Thanks
4 days last week and since Monday of this week which will extend into next week until they get the ne drive line. I have owned it since the 1st of June. They have had it more than I have.Got it. How long has it now been stranded at the dealer for?
Yes, What I should have kept! A 2017 GMC Yukon Denali supercharged..... Which they gave me a 2018 to drive but still never any problems with my 17 that sold before I even got the Trackhawk. That sucks. Did they at least give you a loaner?
I believe I have the same issue. I can only hear it if I am backing up at more than just an idle. It happens when I am in reverse and I give it a little quick throttle. You can hear a thud or creak of some kind. It makes sense to me that it is the bushings on the suspension. Do you think this sounds like the same thing? Let me know if it resolves your issue and I will be sure to bring it up the next time I bring mine in to the dealer.
Will keep you updated. Took it in today.
"The owner of the dealership has a Trackhawk, they want to remove his driveline and stick it in mine."
Wow, that sounds strange. I think that would technically be a used part. WTF with warranty claims after that?
I'm with you on getting your money back NOW.
Tell the dealer to add it to his personal collection and have them order a 2019 for you. If you’ve got a tart taste in your mouth, maybe it’s a lemon.
Mine is doing the same thing. It’s mostly when putting it into gear and in reverse. Mine is going in next week for an oil change and a couple cosmetic issues to get fixed. Will post what my dealer tells me.
I'm going to tell you to let off the brake and drive it right down their throat. I have been lied to and lied to. Today they located me a new one. They have no clue on what causes the noise neither does FCA. But I will tell you when you are use to running over people and getting paid to do so they suddenly remember that and get on the bus and agree to your requests. Don't let up on them!Mine has been making a similar sound. When I start driving from a stop, or slow down to a stop, I hear a sound that seems to be coming from the rear. I would say mine sounds like someone hitting an empty 5 gallon bucket, thud like sound. It's going to the dealer next Friday for an oil change, the cruise control issue, and I reported this sound to the dealer. We will see what happens. I have 5300 miles on it.

My new Hawk. Just washed. Didn't de-badge all the way. Changed center caps to Hellcats instead of Demons. Figured the Demons may have possessed the first Hawk.So what did they tell you? I picked up my new one on 8-24-2018. Runs like it should, a whole world of difference!
Guys, thud sound happening here as well. I have read all posts in this whole thread and there doesn't seem to be an actual answer. Is it the driveline or is it the suspension bushings? Or is it the wheel caps? (joke on the last one).
I have a lawyer pursuing lemon law on my TH for zero money. So many issues that I am losing count. It is a shame, because I love it when I have it.
