Lamborghini has said that the Urus won't have any rivals and will single handedly inaugurate a new segment. That means it is aiming for a sub-4-second 0-60 time, which beats the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S's 0-62 time of 4.1 seconds. It will also be lighter than the Bentayga and the Cayenne. This will be acheived through an aluminium intensive architecture borrowed from the Audi Q7 that has carbon fiber used to further reduce the weight.

Jeep is all about power and streight line racing. It is not so expensive but the finish is also not topsegment.

The urus is more about handling. Huge brakes lighter a real racecar covered in a suv. On a twisty road the jeep will not be a party for the urus. For redlight sprints the jeep will win hands down. The finish is also on another level. The whole interior is covered with leather and alcanthara. Waiting list in europe was more than 2 years. My wife did a downpayment in oktober 2017. The car will be delivered at the end of this year. For now she has to do with the trackhawk. Not sure if we are going to keep them both. Maybe the urus for the weekend and the jeep for the shopping mall. The hummer we reserve for IKEA ;)

I wish I could have a Trackhawk in Europe. I had many American Muscle cars during my 15+ years over there and I always felt like a Rockstar. Couldn't even get gas without answering questions or posing for cameras.

The only possible comparisons the TH can have with the Uris is Straight line acceleration and the fact that they are both SUV's.

Otherwise...they are completely different categories of vehicle. No one shopping for a TH is buying a Uris and no one buying Uris is looking at a TH.

looks like Medihummer just contradicted that thought process Rez lol. I agree overall that people buying this vehicle will buy it because its a Lambo and is a fashion / wealth statement. Performance is secondary but there are exceptions where gear heads with deep pockets will buy both. I know I would if I would ever have that opportunity ;).

I can't wait for my S1025 package to be installed to spank the P100D and Lambos :)

Mmmm lambo is not fashion. It is all about performance. Americans are all about power and straight line performance. Problem here in Europe is nobody knows the trackhawk and they are very difficult to find. For my country only 2 trackhawks were available from FCA. The urus should cost 150k instead of190 k. 40k euro is for the lamborghini logo i agree... i will compare both if i have the urus and keep you posted.

I have nothing against american cars for the good understanding otherwise i would not have a whole parking lot full of them... ;)

The Tesla Model X P100DL beats the Trackhawk in both 0-60 (2.9s vs 3.5s) and quarter mile (11.5s vs 11.6s), but not in top speed (155mph vs 180mph).

The X would probably overheat on a real track though.
I've had the wife's Model X out on the track before. It holds what I would call 'peak' horsepower for a lap or two, then reduces the power to a level where it can shed the heat as quickly as it is being produced. I would say that's about 70% of normal power or thereabouts.

The Urass is not radical enough to wear the Lambo badge (IMO). The bit on Grand Tour tells me it’s just an overpriced SUV that is in the same class as the rest of the 100k priced models we are all familiar with. Is the badge really worth $150k more? Because its styling doesn’t scream Supercar Utility Vehicle and all Lambos should be rediculous performance and style (always have been since the Countach).

We haven’t really driven the urus hard yet but after 3 meters you know it is a completely different car from the jeep. It is larger lighter but much more composed. It feels rock solid. Also the sound is amazing in corsa. Interior is a near perfect finish. The leather is a bit too smooth for me, first you have to touch it to see if it is real. But hey you have 2,5 jeeps for one urus.... for daily use and underground european parking lots the jeep is still more usable with the urus you can pass unnoticed. Maybe the yellow colour also has something to do with that,[emoji6]
